Installed CFS3 a couple of weeks ago on our Athlon 1.7 with 532m & MX2 video before reading the forums - big mistake! It ran, but so badly. Read all the tips thanks, made it better but still poor. Spent £150 on a new MX4 ti4200 video, much better. This morning I tried Illushin 2 for first time with new video card - FANTASTIC! I flew a full size T6 a few weeks ago, CFS3 doesn't seem anything like it but IL2 does. I will try the CFS3 update when it comes out but I wish I had given up on it within the 10 days and got my money back instead. Lets hope someone can pursuade the Russians to map WWII western Europe and then we won't have to bother with MS.

IL-2 is a great game but don't forget that IL-2 Forgotten Battles is out in a couple of weeks. In fact, I think simware are shipping it already but after my experience of buying FS2002 from them I shall wait until it is in the shops!

Richard, are you the guy that works in Knutsford? I remember the hassle that we had with Simware back then!!! Nightmare.
