I just got a new computer with a DVD-CDRW- Rom. When I installed Cfs2, it will run immediately after the installation when choosing to go ahead and play, and everything works fine. After closing the program it will not run. The program asks for the original disk to be in the Cd-rom, but it refuses to accept the original disk as valid. I am told that this is a copy protect gone foul. The original disk is like a key that can't be duplicated. Copies of the original disk don't work. However, when hardware progresses the copy protect on the disk may no longer function properly. Microsoft's response was only recommending that I purchase and install a different brand of DVD-CDRW-Rom or doing away with it all together and going back to a CDRW. Is anyone aware of a better fix or trick around this? Currently I have to uninstall Cfs2 and reinstall it every time I want to use it. I have a lot of add-ons that I purchased for Cfs2 that don't work for Cfs3 that I still want to use that I can't even install. - TFromann@aol.com
