Online games with limited ammo

When joining an online game, and you find you have limited ammo, is there any way to re-arm after it has ran out?

Can you land at an airbase and re-arm, or do you just have to fly about until you are killed? Tried a landing, but certainly didn't automatically re-arm the plane.

In CFS2, one could do a belly landing, and respawn without dying. I don't know if it's the same in CFS3 though.

I tried to belly land once. You don't respawn, so you just sit there with no way to die and respawn (unless someone gets you) until the end of the game.

CoyotePete, I did wonder why some planes just sit there helpless sometimes! There is a way though, just come out of the game and rejoin again, your score will still be up when you go back in. I have had a few instances recently whereas I spawn nowhere near any of the other planes and can't find them, so came out and went back in again!

Next question, if you can't re-arm when you land, why do people land? Does your plane get repaired, if so, do you need to click a button to get this to work once landed?

I think that the people that land are just as clueless as all of us are as to how to rearm or repair.

Don't know about online gaming, but in single-player, if you simply re-choose your plane, you are rearmed and repaired.
