yep I have to agree with you there, I have a P4 2.0GHz, 256RDRAM and a GeForce 2 MX400 64mb with the 40.72, CFS3 is running pretty well. Although I think it looks like it is in an unfinished state, I think that it would have been better not having a Tempest sounding like a C182 and the Spitfire not handing like a stunt plane.. but I think its a good simulator :-)

At what Anti-Aliasing-setting do you have your system?

Or VSinc?

Cheers,

I dont think I have anti-aliasing on, if you run in 1024x768x32 I find it fine :-)

No wonder with that kind of PC,.. I am using a AMD athlon 1400 256mb ram. and it runs quite good..

exept for a few problems, with the USB CH flightsim yoke LE, CH flight padels and microsoft sidewinder (for fighters)

I have this strange problem using the diffrential brakes on the pedals: when I release the brakes they are on, when I push they are off. is there no way to invert the axis?

hope anyone can solve this..

greetings,

usty.

Hi

I am thinking of buying cfs3 and im wondering if its worth wile with my system, I have been experiencing problems with jerkyness in battlefield 1942 with frames of about 54. I picked it up lately new for very cheap, well my dad paid for it so free. It runs fs2002 pretty well its just the addon AI aircraft that kill it.

My system is:

AMD Athalon 1.25ghz
512mb sd ram
GeForce4 MX 440 64mb
Windows XP

Any one running cfs3 on a similar system? if so what does it run like?

Tom

I just installed 40.72 on my P4 2.0Mz Geforce 420 MX. I didn't notice much difference in frame rate (20-30), but I am getting a flashing in the sky while taking off and I think more jerkyness than before. There are some new drivers out now 40.91. Has anyone tried them.

" I have this strange problem using the diffrential brakes on the pedals: when I release the brakes they are on, when I push they are off. is there no way to invert the axis? "

I have the same problem: in FS2002 and CFS2 no problem with toebrakes, but in CFS3 the toe brake axis are reversed. All other axis are correct in CFS3.

Controllers are all CH USB.

The easy fix was to use a CH Control Manager v 1.32 map (CH website has latest CM) and in there checking the 'reverse' box on the toebrakes screen. No more problem!

CH Maps rule!
