Interesting CFS3 Review

I came across this interesting review of CFS3 via a link at SimHQ:

It seems to be based on a more realistic perspective than other reviews or previews I've read, and at five pages should be detailed enough for anyone still considering whether to buy CFS3.

I agree that this review does add a *different* perspective, but I would hesitate to say that it's a more "more realistic perspective."

I enjoy both IL2 & fs3, but with all due respect, any person who reads this review has to consider that comes from IL2's Web site. If you were going to buy Toyota, Mazda, or Mercedes, would you read a review by Ford, GM, or Honda? Ford, GM, or Honda would certainly give a differnet perspective, but I'm not sure it would be "more realistic."

I agree with this statement. My thoughts are, if you want to get a good solid review on any product, you need to get it from an unbiased party. A good spot would be to get them from places such as gamespot, or even if you go to places like Amazon.com, you can often find good reviews on many products. But the fact of the matter is, if you go to a MS site, they are going to tout CFS3 as the greatest, and say there are problems with IL2, and vice versa. So you really need to take that into consideration when reading reviews such as these.
