Good morning,

I’ve always had a flair for aviation and model airplanes.
A few years ago, I started drawing and designing every sort of airplane.
As a result of this passion, I began to consider the possibility of gathering all my designs in a dedicated web-site..... which could offer some interesting ideas to those who wish to design airplanes or just model airplanes.
I have a large quantity of photographic material illustrating existing airplanes and I have already written some study pages about the development of aerodynamics’ design in the history of aviation.
It is not my intention to consider the aerodynamics or design aspects of airplanes, but rather to analyse their styling and aesthetic features, which made them a hit among lovers.
In the past, people said that if an airplane was beautiful it could also fly well...
To complete this brief introduction, I would like to underline that this would be a non-profit web-site, aimed only at gathering ideas and drawings from aviation lovers.
I do hope you will browse through my web-site, for the sake of curiosity.

Kind regards

Hello, Mirco,
A very nice site. I'm interested to read of the RC park in Modena. From time to time, one or another of us at Road & Track magazine (where I'm engineering editor) visit Modena. One of our R&T staff is an avid RC modeller as well.
Regards.

From a scientific point of view that's complete nonsense. Regard the recently published Pilatus Porter...she's a well known aircraft with excellent flight characteristics (of course relative to the tasks she's ment to to), but there are people out there who don't think she's a handsome one (including me i must admit).

There's no truth about if an aircraft is looking good or not, it's a more subjective impression. But flight characteristics are something very objective when it comes to judge wether an aircraft fits the needs it was developed for.

Sheesh man you're taking that way too seriously. Beautiful in defeinitely in the eye of the beholder. Witness the A-10, a plane with benign flying characteristics, but ugly. Their pilots would say that they're so bad that their good. And when your on the ground needing some fire support and that A-10 screams from above to rain death on your foe, it's the most beautiful thing in the world. To try and apply a scientific viewpoint to that is a waste of time.

"To try and apply a scientific viewpoint to that is a waste of time."

Right...absolutly right.

My intention is only to draw and to talk about design (the form of the shape) and to share some idea for new line and "crazy" idea.

Sorry if some word and "concept" are no so good...my english is :-(

Best regards....
