Hi, I am new to aircraft design and would like to know if there are any freeware software for designing aircraft for FS2002/FS2004?

gmax comes with the pro edition of fs2002
long and hard to learn

gmax 1.2 is included in disc 1 of FS9.

HOWEVER - at this time, the converter and makemdl.exe are not.

It is expected that Microsoft will release an SDK with the necessary converters and makemdl.exe

So, *at the time of this posting* no, there aren't any "free" flightsim design programs.

Currently, the gmax converter is available only in the FS2002 Professional Edition.
