Where could I get 3-views and dimensions for aircraft, specificley, the Lockheed Jetstar II, but any would be nice. I'd also like to know where I could find dimensions, not just wing span, lenght, height, etc.. For example, the width of the height of the horizontal stabilizor? Can I find any of this on the internet? So far I've only been able to find very basic dimensions.
Thanks,

Check out the Resources page at Freeflight Design Shop (http://www.freeflightdesign.com - click on Resources)

Two of the more useful sites for basic 3-views are Thomas Suurland (http://www.suurland.com) and Onno van Braam (http://www.onnovanbraam.com/) (Note to others: Eduardo's page 3-views are all listed/categorized in the Suurland page)

These sites, however, do not include aircraft data. Basically, you'd have to either search on the INternet, or go to "museum" sites like

http://avia.russian.ee/index2.html (which doiesn't have the Jetstar.

Otherwise, there are a lot of anthology books - check the FFDS Resources page for a very partial, but useful, list.

Once you have a good scaled 3-view (or preferably, plans with cross sections), as long as it's properly scaled, you wont need the precise measurments of various cmponents to model the airplane, and for flight dynamics purposes, you can get reasonable measurments from your modelling program.

Thanks for the reply and links. How do I get them to propper scale in Gmax? I can scale them down, but how do I get them right? THanks, and I'm to go check out those sites.
