Vista Service Pack, Come Now, PPLLLEEEAASSEE!!!

Hi guys,
Have had a massive problem with my Nvidia Control Panel, where any settings that I change there have NO effect with any games at all. I can create my own settings for fsx.exe, then as soon as I close the window, it'll forget about them, delete the fsx.exe settings... the only way I can have any form of AA or AF is enabling it within games, which, in FSX is a massive performance hit which I'm not happy with.

Just got off the phone with Dell Support who didn't know what to do, to be fair he was very apologetic, said that he had Vista and went back to XP. He also said I was the first person noticing this problem, so congratulations to me! He said he would research it and call me tomorrow evening, but the percentage he'd find something was very low. I've tried absolutely everywhere to find an answer for this problem, but no luck at all. He also said that the Vista Service Pack could fix the problem and this could be one of the bugs. I want it out now!

Is there no one else with my exact system running Vista?!!?

Sounds like more of an issue with Nvidia's control panel than anything to do with Vista. Microsoft has changed the way video drivers work in Vista, but it is still up to the video card manufacturers to update their software accordingly. Have you contacted nVidia about it yet? Or looked through their forums?

Also, I'm not sure that enabling AA through the control panel will perform any better than through the sim. Behind the scenes they both end up doing the same thing.
