Screen Resolutions.

Hey guys.
Out of curiosity, What would you say is the best resolution to tun Fs2004 in? I have a 17inch. CRT. The system specs are below.

Hi Jesse,

1280 X 960 X 32 - both FS9 and your display settings for your pc. - Increase FONT size as necessary by selecting 'VIEW/TEXT SIZE at the top of this page.

All the 17 inch monitors I ever ran seemed to be best at 1152 x 864. They'd RUN 1280 x 960, but I couldn't see any quality improvement whatsoever. I never did spend the money on an ultra high quality 17 inch though...

I didn't start running 1280 x 960 until I had my first 19 inch, and today I run 1600 x 1200 on a 22 inch.

However won't this affect the lifespan and durability of both my monitor and video card?

I don't think so. I've run 1280x1024 on my current monitor and video card for over 2 years now. And I'm running a Radeon 9800 Pro, so I have the quality settings turned up, as well.
