I recently upgraded from Windows XP Home Edition to XP Pro and in the process I reloaded a bunch of software. I thought I had everything covered as far as FS9. I have a P4, HT, 3.2GHz, 2Gigs DDR SDRAM, and an NVIDIA FX5900 Ultra video card with 256Megs Ram. My problem is that whenever I first look left, right, etc. from the cockpit, the scenery appears as different shades of purple checkerboard squares. It takes a few seconds and clears up. But since the scenery is dynamic and everchanging it only takes a short while before I'm in a new area and when I look left or right again, the same thing happens. It didn't do this before I upgraded to XP Pro and I'm thinking some file setting has changed and I need to put it back to what it was. Probably my FS9.cfg file. If anyone can help me correct this annoying behavior I would be very greatful.

Don't have an Nvidia card but it sounds like a driver problem. Probably need to clean out the old driver and install the latest one.

I do have the most current drivers and have had since they came out in November 2004. And like I said, the problem started after I installed XP Pro. Thanks for trying Ron. I appreciated your response. Anyone else out there have any inkling as to what might be going on? Thanx.
