Cockpit Views

Hi,

I often use differents cockpits in planes I like to fly. I often modified the cockpits like adding GPS or Radio Stack etc..

When I am in the cockpits flying and I look right or left, the view is often partially blocked by windows, part of the panel etc. It does not disturb me when the view look real, but when I see rough grey contours of a blank panel without instruments it doesn't look realistic. If somebody knows how to remove these views I would appreciate. I think you have to edit the model.cfg files but I don't know how. I tried editing the aircraft or the panel files but it doesn't work.

This topic is more likely than not going to be moved to the FS2004 forum (just for future reference, that's where it belongs), but as far as I know, it can't be removed if it's the VC. If it's the 2D panel, then quite a few people here know more than I do about it so they should be able to help.
