Help

I cannot configurate Hat Button 1 in settings. Hat Botton 2 only function as 4 way switch.
This problem could be solved if I could use the profiles I made using Saitek's Profile Editor, but I don't know how I can activate it, when I play FS 2004.

All of mine are set in FS, not using the Saitek software. It works just fine there.

X45 Profiles are configured either using the Profile Launcher in the taskbar, or the "Profile Now" toolbar button in the Profile Editor. You must actually configure the stick to use the profile!

How do I set FS 2004 to use a Saitek Profile.

You don't. The profile changes how the stick reports the various button presses. By applying the profile to the stick using the Saitek Profile Launcher, you tell it to send the correct keypresses in response to a control, and FS just interprets those as normal. You only need to configure the joystick axes (inlcuding the rotary controls, if you want) in FS. I'd highly recommend configuring Rotary 1 as the elevator trim.
