Hello Everyone
I have a Geforce 4 TI 4200 128 Mb I am thinking of getting a 256mb MSI Geforce FX5700, or a 128 mb FX 5900 not sure which to go for
any advice would be helpful.

I have the identical card and was thinking the same thing. BUT....I've now tried the new 60.72 drivers now becoming available for these cards....and I would give 'em a try before you buy a new card. You may find out you don't need to spend more money!!!
Worth a try!!

Thanks Harry
I tried these drivers and the framerates became worse, I have gone back to the starstorm 57.72 drivers,

Ahhh the frame rates were slower, but was the sim not smoother? This seems to also be common find with those who try the drivers. Having lower frame rates but smoother flying is better than higher framerates and stutters! :)

Hi,
Meanwhile if the drivers don't cut it, the 5900 is far and away the best choice.

I don't think the 60.72 drivers are official releases from nvidia. You should stick back at 56.72.
