Which of these is better for FS?
1-Intel P4 3.2 GHz, FSB 800MHz
2-AMD Athlon XP 3200+
3-AMD Athlon 64 bits 3000+

1 will probably be better than 2 or 3.
I would have to say 1 and 3 are pretty matched up though.

A little out of date, but a good read:

As far as bang for the buck, the AMD is better any day of the week. You'll pay less to get equivalent performance. My 1.8ghz barton-core runs with the P4-2.5ghz chips, and cost about half as much.

Intel has a slight edge on AMD, believe it or not. Most people say that AMD processors run games a bit faster than Intels, however, they are slower at running your day to day applications (Office, etc.). As for the comparison of a 1.8Ghz AMD versus a high end pentium, I personally, have my doubts about that. I've seen them both and can tell you that at least to me, Intel seems to be a lot smoother and less problematic in the long run. Most Intel boards are rock solid, on the other hand, some AMD boards are known to have isues here and there.
If you are on a budget, AMD might be your best option but you must shop around cause you are bound to see deals for Intel processors. The same can be said for Intel boards.
