Hi...

I´ve got this strange problem and maybe some one could help me. When I´m playing FS2004 the texture gets artifacted and corrupt when using my comps. RAM (Twinmos 512x2MB) with 400Mhz data rate. I´ve tried different settings and the only thing that can fix it is to reduce the RAM´s datarate to 320MHz and lower.

My mobo is ASUSP4P800 Intel865PE with a P4 2.8Ghz, 800FSB...

Anyone experienced the same thing?????

Twinmos is that the brand??

Just remember one thing about ram, never get cheap ram. Get name brand ram otherwise you might be screwed over with an off brand.

Oh and make sure you have the right kind of ram. PC3200 for your computer.

I too have the same motherboard but a ATI 9800 Pro (128Mb). As the above writer stated, ram if not the same brand and or being a perfect match will definitely give you problems. Sometimes moving the ram between different slots on the motherboard will help. I believe our ASUS boards have four slots for ram numbered 0-3. I do believe that the memory sticks need to be in consecutive slots too.
