Hi, phile

I think 45.23 is the best one for Ti cards.

I don't see why you can't use the latest drivers, in fact, NVidia is getting ready to release version 55.xx which are considered ForceWare 2.0. Go with the latest, you should be fine.

Hi, TheFlightMan

In fact you can use anyone you like. But, itīs already known that the 55.xx series are better for FX cards and the 45.23 is the best one for Ti cards.

Hope this can help

I replied to your other post, it would be helpful if you can provide some links or site information that explains in detail the difference. This will help others make a decision on 45.XX or 53.XX.

There is no answer to your question.

You could take 10 different systems with the exact same videocard in them and still find that they respond differently to a given set of drivers.

If you want to run the best possible drivers for your rig there's only one way to know for sure, and that's to try them all.

Personally I tend to just try the ones I see people raving about.

"You could take 10 different systems with the exact same videocard in them and still find that they respond differently to a given set of drivers."

Never a truer statement!

Only advice I have is "s u c k* it and see"- Personally I found the new 53.03 drivers weren't as good as the 52.16 on my setup.I have seen posts from others with similar systems to mine who found the exact opposite.

Dave

* here was the word "s u c k "in single spacing but the forum auto censor for some reason sees the first letter as an f and won't allow the word replacing it with hash signs!!Probably playing safe!!

I used the 53.03 set with no problems.
