Read the locked thread. To me both users temps look good.
I run a XP1900 and get 35mobo and 56cpu while running FS04 for a long time.
Hope this helps,
Jim

For some reason, the ambient temp on my machine is always read low - 20+C, the rest of the temps seem the same as mine thoough. I run an Athlon 2600+.
Word is that Athlons generally run hotter than Pentium processors. I imagine it's to do with how they get more performance out of less frequency.
As a rule of thumb for prolonged gaming, if it's as hot as a cup of coffee, I'll shut down for an hour or so.

Thanks, FatTulip and Jim
It seems that my temps are in the expected range.

Val,
I had sent you a private mail about this after the thread was locked!
Look at this page, it is a chart for AMD processors:

That's a very useful little guide for all sorts of things. I'd be a bit worried if my CPU temp was even approaching 85 / 90C though!
I trust AMD, but wouldn't want to test the validity of the temperature thresholds they refer to... could be expensive.

Hi, Qballbandit
Thanks for your information.
Anyway, I think I have to increase my CPU cooler, because my ambient temp is very high (about 36º C today).

Val
