Hello: I`m new FS2004 user and I don`t know how can tune up FS2004 to work like in FS2002 multimonitor environment. I have 4 monitors using 3 Gforce4 MX440SE PCI cards and the original ATI motherboard. Using the intranet conection to a Compaq PC. My problem begins when I try to uncouple the screens like the main panel and pedestal radios etc. and expand them between two monitors and fill them while the main view is in one monitor (or projector with a "Y"). I do this in FS2002 in full screen mode without any trouble, but here in FS2004 I can`t expand the screen between two monitors, even more about, in FS2004 appears not available the uncouple option while is in full screen mode, at least in my spanish version. In windows mode I can expand between two monitors but when back to full screen mode strange things happen like one monitors goes to black screen or sometimes the expanded panel goes back to a only one monitor.

I will apreciate all the information about, thank you in advance for any help.

Greetings from Mexico:(

Is me novgui again I just found this in FAQ section of this forum:

38. How do I undock a panel window in full screen mode and move it to another monitor?

A. Go in windowed mode
B. Undock and transfer the panel windows to the others screens
C. Go back to full screen mode

Yes but I want fill two monitors with the same panel like in FS2002. In FS2004 when goback to full screen the panel return to only one screen so the panel appears deformed.

>I dont think you can have the same panel on seperate windows unless >there are two instances of the panel in the panel.cfg, or unless >your nview is set to Clone
>I >think< it's possible to span a panel across two windows, but >this might only work if both monitors are at the same resolution, >and aligned with each other in the windows display properties page. >I'll try this out now and get back to you....

Edit: Sorry, it doesn't seem to work when I tried it out in FS2004. I went into windowed mode, undocked the main panel, stretched it over, then went into full screen mode, but it just popped back. You mentioned you were using an intranet connect to your Compaq PC...perhaps you could try using WideFS to put the panel on the other machine over the lan. (www.schiratti.com/dowson.html)

You right. I don`t understand why in FS2004 you can undock every panel or subpanel and spand it in two or even three monitors without trouble working in full mode or windowed. Inexplicable, to me at least why FS2004 does`t work in the same way. Did MS forgotten us ?. This is a great frustration about this new version for all of us that have a virtual cabin and take the simulator like a very serius trainer tool and not a game.
