Tried using card AA & AF...it was OOGLY!

I recently tried allowing my nVidia card to control AA and AF, instead of "Allow application". Let me just say that it was extremely ugly. The terrain textures looked like small farms...
all squares and extremelly poor resolution. Very "pixillated". I tried all the slider settings to no avail. Needless to say, I've gone back to "allow apllication...".

I'm using the 52.16 drivers.

hmm, I had the exact opposite effect. It took care of the blurries, and rendered a nice clean, clear look. Before I turned AA and AF t max quality, my scenery was very blurry.

I have to wonder if the MOBO and it's resultant BIOS doesn't have some efffect on what works best?
