Hi everyone: I know this subject is being beat to death, however, I still cannot get rid of the brown patches going from 2D cockpit to outside views. I have tried everything that has been mentioned in this forum but nothing seems to get rid of them. First, setting the Texture_Bandwidth_Mult= (tried settings from 80 to 800 still no effect). Running 45.23 drivers to 53.03 nothing seems to help. 1024x768x32 to 1600x1200x32 nothing fixes it. I think I have tried everything I can think of. According to my system specs listed under my sig, I think I have enough power to overcome this unless my bottleneck is my GEForce4 Ti4600 (being older). AGP enabled. AGP Aperture size tried from 8Mb clear up to 256Mb. Does anyone else have this problem and if so are you just living with it or do you have a fix? I have updated Bios, all drivers sound and video and even o'clckd my CPU to 3000Mhz. Also settings in Graphic card from application controlled to 4Xs AA and 8x AF. AA off in the game. Running dual monitors also.
Any help would be appreceiated.

Just a thought:Have you locked your frame rates? If not, lock them down to 25fps and see if that helps. My rig ain't bad,but if I set the fps to unlimited I get this effect too, locking to 25 or 30 solves the problem. My graphic card isn't THAT much faster than yours, but not even the fastest cards available today can display the textures instantly without limiting the fps.Hope this solves your problem!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too,we don't have thanksgiving here in germany, but I'm always ready for a turkey dinnerAbout your problem:You could try 1600x1200x32 and no AA and AF.With such a fine screen res. you don't need AA and AF,and the graphic card doesn't have to work so hard. Are you running both monitors from the same card? That could be causing problems, not sure as I've never been able to afford two monitors. (at the moment I'm trying to persuade my wife that I need CH rudder pedals with Christmas coming and all, wish me luck...!)Hope you manage to resolve your problem soon!

Hi,
I too have texture builds slowing. I've graduated (sic) from
Nvidea G4Ti4200 (which I cured from texture delays) to an
ATI 9800 pro (via a 9500pro also) and both the ATI cards give
slow texture builds - and I've tried everything (I think)
mentioned in these forums and still can't cure it.
So whats with the specs with these cards?
They're missing out something somewhere?
I'm sure Microsoft couldn't have had this when they released
final build to the public - yet there is little or no information
forthcoming from Them re Any or ALL of these nuisances.
ITMT suffer until sorted!
