OK, here's a curious problem which has me stumped and it's something that developed pretty recently.
If I get IFR Clearance to my destination city using my FSNAV flight plan, the plane will NOT lift off the ground, no matter the t/o speed, weight, etc. If I use just generic VFR clearance 'take off to east, north, etc" the planes fly perfectly. This happens whether I'm using FS ATC or Radar Contact. I have tested this consistently with many different aircraft and airports and it doesn't change.
Example: today wanted to fly KPHX-KDTW. Obtained "IFR Clearance to Detroit". Taxied my L-1011 out to the designated runway, got clearance for t/o and started my roll. at 140 KIAS, rotated, nosewheel up just fine, but main gear would NOT lift off and here I was doing a 'wheelie' across the Arizona countryside. Lightly loaded fuel (40k). Started all over again, this time just doing generic 'take off to the east' clearance. Repeated procedures, the plane lifted off like a kite at 130 IAS and is enroute as we speak.
What the hey???? I'm open to any feedback. This is silly.
