Contrails all aircraft

As a new user of fs9/2004 I suddenly get a 90 degree kink from the contrails this arcs to earth and shows visually as a white line merging into the scenery.Even if at low altitude I still get the arcing line from high altitude AI flights.Can anyone advise a solution please

did you recently download a new airicraft, effect file, or some scenery files? there are some the mess up the contrails.
