For some reason my aircraft appear to "float" just above the taxi/runways. Is this a .cfg problem that can be fixed?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

Hi Topbuns,
Are you refering to AI aircraft or you own flyable aircraft (default or other)?
Is this at all airports? Default? Addon?

Hi, Neil!
TNX for your quick reply.
I have not noted AI "floaters", but it certainly happens in all flyable a/c at virtually all airports I've visited (can't comment on the other 2,000 or so that I have not been to!). And, it happens with most a/c, whether default or addon.

Not certain but I think there's a MS fix for that and it might be called SP2 or Service Pack 2. Because of other commitments I haven't messed with FS9 since Hurricane Katrina but I try to check the forum every morning.

Do you mean the wheels are *slightly* off the ground?? By "Inches" so to speak??
If so..Yes..You can edit the config to "adjust" the wheels lower *slightly*...
I have noticed this on several aircraft myself...But not "All"...
I would caution making *Radical* changes to the Contact Points section of the config...You can goof stuff up...But I have gotten away with minor tweeking type changes...I'd highly recommend making a copy of the existing config for back-up prior to making any changes...
Happy T'Day...
