You guys do great stuff (thanks much) but many planes I DL fly nose down during level flight. Real planes fly with a slight positive attitude. I've adjusted "wing incidence" towards the negative in the .CFG and that has worked good on some planes and not on others. What's my problem?
Do you folks check level flight attitude on planes you construct? I line the plane up with the horizon and "nose down flight" looks silly.

Hi
Probably a silly question but.....have you got the aircraft trimmed properly? An out-of-trim situation would give you a nose-down effect.
Perhaps you could name one of your aircraft that behaves this way and we could check it ourselves and get back to you.
Oh...and welcome to the forums.
Best regards
John

It's not true to say that real planes don't fly nose down. Some do, the attitude relative to the horizon depends on the angle of attack of the wings at any given time. A plane at full speed in level flight has a small angle of attack and may be designed so that the fuselage points slightly down when the wings are at the correct angle of attack for high speed flight.

wing_incidence does not have any effect in FS9 try
cruise_lift_scalar instead.
