So many planes, so many sceneries, never enough time to fly. I thought it would be a fun thread for people to list flights or adventures that they are looking forward to trying when they get a chance. Its a tribute to how great this sim is that for every hour I spend using it I end up thinking of 3 hours more of stuff I want to try. Here's a list off the top of my head (pretty freeware-centric):

1. Low slow New England tour-- down the Conneticut river valley, along the coast, and then up the Merrimack River valley. Currently in progress, in the Aeronca Champ. Using Freeflow N.E. waterways, and Golden Wings.
2. Some serious time in the default Trimotor. Some cross-country, maybe some adverse weather.
3. Learn some real aerobatics, in the LIC Champ and EagleII.
4. Jet aerobatics with the Snowbirds!
5. Lazy aerobatics in Daviator Sopwith Camel.
6. Spend some quality time with the Schupe team Beech 18 and Spartan.
7. Bush flying with the Schupe Aero commander.
8. Sunny weather sighseeing in the Daviator Stearman.
9. Some adventures with Bill Lyon's Goose.

Can think of many more but I'll stop here...

Perhaps some record distance flying in the recently relesed freeware Me-163 Komet. It's rocket engine provides increadible performance, but VERY limited duration, about twelve minutes full power.

Once it stops being an Estes rocket, it becomes a docile glider that is as beautiful to look at as it is to fly.

My current record is 150 miles. Maybe you could add trying to beat me to your list.:-)

1. Round the World flight in the Dreamfleet Baron, currently in Timisoara in Romania, waiting for the weather to clear so I can take a peek at the Carpathians (next stop Sofia in Bulgaria, then Thessalonika and Izmir via the Greek Islands)

2. Down the east coast of the US in the Dreamfleet Cessna 310 - heading for the Carribean to see a little sunshine.

3. I've got Flight 1 Cessna 172R somewhere in the middle of France, heading for Spain to see if the mountains look as good as they did in a TV programme I saw a few weeks ago

4. I've got a scheme to follow some of the AI airliners in the Lago Tornado, but I'll have to crack the inflight refuelling to make that feasible, as I can burn off its fuel load in half an hour

"1. Low slow New England tour...."

Be sure to swing East through the White Mountains, NH Lakes Region and "downeast" the Maine coast to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island!
