I've had an odd problem crop up in FS9 recently. E.G. In 2d cockpit, when I bring up the GPS, Kneeboard or FSnav (in undocked mode), the complete cockpit below the top line of the window that is brought up is blocked out (i.e. black).

A second, but different manifestation of the same problem shows itself when I bring up a radio stack or any other type of window like a fuel panel etc... E.G. The 2d panel REMAINS in view but all of the click points disappear... just as if there is some invisible shield covering them up!! This really causes a mess when using the PSS A330/A340 - trying to switch between the different 2d panels gets really interesting.

All of this started a month or so ago. the only additions have been FS Global 2005, FSScene World Pack, PMDG 747, PSS A340/A330, DF 727 and FS Panel Studio.

I thought that I may have inadvertently messed something up via panel studio but can't pinpoint anything... BTW, I use full screen. Also, hardware has been the same for the past year. All drivers up to date.

Appreciate any assistance.
Walter

Sounds like a video driver problem Walter. Try a different AA setting and/or different resolution. If it goes away, that confirms it. If so, try a new driver.

Already tried that. I have back tracked and discovered that this problem started when I was experimenting with using two monitors via Nview on my Nvidia GT6800. I changed a setting somewhere in order to be able to move windows, e.g. FSnav, to a second monitor. Since I run FS in full screen mode, it didn't work right at first. I remember changing something but can't remember what it was or where.

Thank you for your response.
