Whenever I bring up my kneeboard and attempt to scroll down it causes FS2004 to crash. I can open or close the kneeboard and select the different areas but when I attempt to scroll it crashes. I have opened a ticket with Microsoft but they are still trying to figure it out. I do not have roboform. I did find a mention of Window Blinds possibly causing this problem but do not know what this is.

Any ideas or suggestions for a fix?

Thanks

I had this problem for a long time as well. I just reformatted and did a clean install, works fine for me now. I'm sorry, I know this isn't the fix you want. Good luck!

I think this is what your looking for.

Go to START then to RUN type "regedit" Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

then expand "SOFTWARE" Scroll down to "MICROSOFT" and expand that.

then go to "WINDOWS" Expand that. Then go to "Run" and highlight

"RUN" BY CLICKING ON IT. To the right of your screen you will see all

the programs that start when your computer boots up. find viewmgr.exe

and delete it. Let us know how it works.

Good luck!

Oh Happy Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your fix worked. I will let Microsoft know because they are still scratching their heads.

I would have never found View Manager on my own. I appreciate your help.

Thanks again,

Jerry Splawn

Fantastic! I'm glad it worked and thanks for letting us know, it helps others.

Tell MS to send the check to my secretary in the morninghttp://img354.imageshack.us/img354/2840/smiliepounding3qu.gif

There's no "run" in my Windows folder.

N/MD.

Found it.

Had to expand "current version" first and THEN go to run.

Alternatively, one could just type "msconfig" into "RUN" and then go to "Startup", find ViewMgr and uncheck it/delete it in there.

This fix worked for me as well. This has been driving me crazy for quite awhile. I can't tell you how many times I've re-installed, cleaned the regitry, etc trying to fix this. Thanks

:D

Thank you! I've never been bothered since I never used the kneeboard anyway, but now everyone that uses my PC feels better that it's gone.
