What do you think is the best payware plane out there? My pick would be the PMDG 747-400. The PMDG guys did a good job on it.

I have the PMDG 747, the Level-D 767 and the Eaglesoft Citation X.
I love them all, but my favorite is the Level_D 767.

I havnt found a payware plane that I like.
Ive downloaded better aircraft from flightsim.com for free, then ive paid money for.
As far as im concerned buying aircraft for flightsim is a waste of money.

Flight 1 ATR 72-500!!!!
Flight 1 ATR 72-500!!!!
Flight 1 ATR 72-500!!!!
NOTHING I own compares to it as quality, although I wish I could find jets of similar quality!
Sure PMDG 737, 747 are quite good, and PSS Airbuses - decent but they are still some miles behind!

Best GA - Flight1 Baron58 and Bonanza A36
Best Turboprop - Flight1 ATR 72/500
Best Jet, dunno but in my Hangar right now the LVLD 767 takes it, can't speak about the PMDG Queen yet as I don't yet have it.

ATR is great
LDS 767 is also great
It's either that or the Level-D 767-300. Both are so good that it's hard for me to choose one over the other.

Try any of the aircraft by Lynn and Bill Lyons, any, and you'll discover a new world of simulated flight. Or, for example, try Flight1's Cessna 152 or their Cessna Cardinal, or the MAAM-SIM B-25 or their R4D/DC3, or.....
Don't know which aircraft you may have purchased but it sounds as if you've perhaps made some wrong choices?

I baught the Bizjets from Abacus, and the Twin Otter from Abacus. The Biz Jets where crap. The Aircraft CFG file was all screwed up. The cockpits were nice, but the three of the jets were 'Gulfstreems' when they were not, due to aircraft cfg errors. None of them flew for more then 2 hours without crashing my FS (But that could be an unrelated problem) Most aircraft seem to have the weights all wrong anyways... when compared to boeing.com, im always haveing to make adjustments. Then when the aircraft weighs right, it doesnt land right. Wow, the 747 can stop at max landing weigh in the first 1/4 mile of the runway? Ya right! Also how do you fix the acceleration after liftoff? A few planes dont but the default ones acelart WAY too fast after liftoff... I nearly have to go straight up to keep under 250
Im willing to try these other planes, but im staying away from abacus for aircraft.

You were previously willing to judge all payware aircraft based solely on your experience with Abacus? Glad you've reconsidered.

I have it but am tired of 12fps so i dont use it , overall the Carenado 206 is the best payware plane, period.
DreamFleet 727. A detailed airliner thats requires a large amount of hands on flying. A close second, the 767-300ER by LevelD Simulations.
