The May issue of AOPA, has some complementary comments about the Flight 1 C-172SP.It highlighted the input by Jim Rhoads to make this model with its panel,and performance, to "Mimic" the real thing better than any other PC based flghtsim aircraft. Mr. Rhoads indicates that he used the back country strips in the Microsoft database as his virtual testbed. The article is interesting to me because it shows that simming is more than just being a game,but rather as an Aviation subject to be taken serious. I like my FS C-172SP.I have flown the C-172SP,the fs model does a better than average job in the area of "REAL FEEL" in the Sim world,to date.Altho the "Greatest Airplanes "ARCHER"still has to be held up as the definitive comparison as to overall sense of realism in all areas.
