Need PMDG 747 Download Link

Hi,

I purchased PMDG's Queen yesterday but the site went down after it took my money, but before it could give me the download link (I received a confirmation email) . I have the information I need to do the validation but I need to get the installation file. Does anyone have this link? I sent PMDG a couple of emails but it looks like they'll be backed up for a while. Thanks

Charlie,
If you go to the link provided in the confirmation e-mail, then log into your account, you can download the package. PMDG is still having intermittent problems but you should be able to download the Queen.
According to the PMDG site, they have suspended sales for a few hours to allow the bandwidth to be used for folks to download the product.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately there are no links in the email other than my own email address in the "Billing Information" section. When I go to the e-commerce page and log-in, the order for the 747 does not show up in the list of previous purchases (I assume they have not yet updated this database).

Go to the PMDG site and log into the e-commerce section. You created a user ID and password when you bought it. If your info is correct you can view you past orders including an active link you airplane.

Did you get two emails on with just a receipt and one that reads as follows:

Your order from PMDG eCommerce has been processed and confirmed!

DOWNLOAD ORDERS: You should download your purchase from the link provided.

Hi Mike,

I've only received the "receipt email". I guess I'll just have to wait until someone from PMDG gets bact to me. I'd sure like to be flying the Queen sometime soon.

I had a similar problem, purchased through paypal but got script errors, I never received ANY email, except from paypal telling me my account was charged... anyway since I want to fly her I bought her again with my credit card this time tonight and it went through OK, got the emails within 10 seconds. Maybe theres a paypal issue, is that what you used?

Hi,

No, I used a credit card. I think that I just caught it at a time when the servers went down. Anyway, I just got a response from PMDG support (they have probably have not slept for the last three days) and they sent me the second email that contains the download link. I now have the file and hope to shortly be in the left seat preparing for taxi. :+
