While browsing through the posts on the flightsim message boards, I came across some water textures called oceanfx. It would appear that these textures are for FS 2004. There are two additional files that the water textures require -- oceansfx.zip and oceanstx.zip. Both the file libraries here and at avsim.com have these two files, but they are in the FS 2002 scenery category. Will I be able to use the FS 2002 scenery in FS 2004 without any problems?

Most of the '02 stuff works fine in '04!! Sometimes you need
to re-texture some of the trees, but that is rare!!

Yes, that will work allright. But to get the most out of it you might consider mixing it with couple more water textures. Here's the recepy and few screenshots:

Very nice, isn't it!?

P.S. The only ingredient I'd change is Bill Lyon's fs9wat2a.zip. I have put his fs9wat.zip instead. That added a bit more reflections to the vawes.

It would seem that particular site has the same problem that this site does with screenshots--they get posted and the next day they disappear. I haven't been able to figure out why that happens.
The water screen shots don't show up, so I guess I have to assume that they look good.
