View Full Version : VC window permanent adjustment?

The VC window offers view adjustments, (sit up higher, lower...) by using Shift + Enter or Shift + backspace.
Is there a way to set these individualized "views" permanently so that when I hit the shift bar to "reset" the view, it keeps the "height" that I want? Resetting the view always sets me back to the wrong height.
Thanks in advance

Goto to the aircraft.cfg of the aircraft you wish to modify. Find this line.
eyepoint=37.486, -1.499, 7.831
The first number moves you forward and backward, the second moves you left and right, the third up and down.
I edited the CRJ 200 from Wilco to:
eyepoint=37.486, 1.878, 7.831
I like to fly this particular aircraft as the first officer....

I'll try it out very soon.

Ok, that seemed to work fine. Thank you for your help.
Is there any way to adjust the "tilt" of the view? i.e., you can use your top hat to adjust the "tilt" while in VC, is there a way to set that permanently too?

I'm not to sure about setting the tilt permanetly. I do know that active camera pro lets one pan around all axis using the mouse and one can assign views that can be set to a keystroke. Perhaps someone can chime in.
As for me I set the eyepoint where I felt most comfortable an used the hat switch for years. Then along came the track ir and then the vector expansion. If you really enjoy panning and moving around in the vc, then This is the way to go.
