Runway Lights

I've noticed how in all the FS series the runway lights are colored white...or a whitish color, which is not the real color...how can you change this to the real color which is more yellowish? Is there a way this can be done or does it depend on the scenery?

Hi, try searching for the Airport Environment upgrade in the file liberies I have this and they look great, hope this helps my freind.

Runway lights are white.

Taxiway lights are blue

Taxiway centerlines are green.

The near edge of the runway is green, the far edge red, with the white lights on the edge of the runway turning yellow the further you get. (At bigger airports.)

I've never seen yellow runway lights in my life.

I was about to say, the lights at my local airport are VERY white....

The lights can be dimmed by either the pilot at uncontrolled airports, or by the tower at manned airports. Either way, they can appear to be yellowish if they are on low.

I don't think it's been released to the beta testers, yet. My forum and FS activity have been somewhat lax the past few year or so, due to real-life commitments, but with those commitments being fulfilled, the Beech will be a nice welcome back to simming.
