Holy Moly!!! they've got the club-house and the hanger all down to perfection... it even says T.G. Aviation on the hanger, which is exactly where I used to do my flying lessons. How come mine doesn't look like that???
Do you have any 3rd party scenery installed to get that???

As stated above....GA-TRAFFIC is your best bet for filling your airports with GA...just be sure you have an AFCAD2 file that gives them enough parking (i know theres one for Manston at AVSIM). Ga traffic is great cause it will use more than just the default aircraft....you can specify exactly what gets used for AI and what doesn't. I downloaded a BUNCH of small GA aircraft and bizjets...then used the funtion in GA-TRAFFIC to make the aircraft into AI models..and then just deleted the original. I now have LOTS of GA-AI models flying around. The utility works VERY well
Good luck
Andrew
*I did a quick search here and at AVSIM and couldn't find any addon scenery for Manston...don't know if whats shown above is default or not

the scenery is UK2000 http://www.uk2000scenery.bizland.com/puplic/index.htm
it started with the channel islands back in 2000 and he has been slowly working his way accross England. the detail is fantastic with virtually every active airfield and airport covered many not covered by Microsoft or no more than a runway. if you fly around the UK it is IMHO a must.

FYI Just Flight sell it as British Airports, Vol 1 thru' 5. It has 'em all, even down to little club fields like Stapleford Abbots.

I just jumped into this Southend based 152 and popped up to your home airport; aswell as these 2 cessnas parked up, there where 2 others taxing to the runway. this was just after startup, if i was to hang around i would expect to see a few more planes using the airport, maybe even a few biplanes :)
Have you tried using GA-Traffic this is what i use to generate my GA AI and i have traffic ant almost even the smallest airfields

All,
I don't know how other people use thier flight sims, but for me, It's a learning experience based mainly around my own local airport. I have 22 hours in a Cessna 152 in real life, so my flight sim activities are geared towards continuing my flying training even though I can no longer afford the stonking amount of money required to do it in real life!
Anyway, back to the point, most of my activities are based around my local airport, EGMH(Manston) which has very little (if any) AI traffic in FS. At first I decided to just add some flights either doing touch and go's or flying back and forth to nearby airports.
This was all good and well for a while, but now that I'm starting to venture a little further, in aircraft capable of travelling to airports further away from my little South East corner of the contry I'm dissapointed to find everytime I arrive at an airport (other than the main internationals) there is no traffic and I'm always cleared No.1 to land.
My first train of thought was "ok, I'll just add more flights in at these airports as well." It was easy to add flights to my local airport because I know the aiport codes of those close by, so I could create flights without having to refer to maps, but when I reliased I couldn't do that with other airports that I'm not familier with i realised it would take longer to create flights in other airports.
In addition, seeing the number of other airports dotted around the country really made me realise... ok, I can't do this on my own.
That's where you lot come in.
I propose, that anyone interested in making more traffic in the UK, either GA traffic, or more 747's tearing up the skys, create more local traffic at and around thier own local airports, and then make those files available on flightsim.com using some kind of naming convention, or certain text in the description we'll all be able to find each others files and over time, build up a network of hugely increased UK traffic.
I've already created a Map of most of the UK, pulled straight out of flight sim so it has all airports dotted around in the correct locations and I'm more than willing to make that map available to others so they can find it easier to create flights between airports in the UK by looking up airport codes at a glance on a map.
I am happy to keep track of who is working on which areas, and even to keep a list of flights so that we can always see what airports have enhanced traffic, how much enhanced traffic it has and what kind of traffic is now running there.
I have attatched a sample of the map I created to this post, showing about 75% of the map at a greatly reduced size, so that you can see how much is there, and next to it a sample of the map at real size, just so that you can see that it IS readable.
Please let me know here if anybody is interested, appologies for such a long post and thanks for reading this far!!
