Can anyone recommend a high quality MD 80/90 series that American Airlines utilizes on a frequent basis. Some of the models I have downloaded in the past and quirks, such as extremely sensitive rudder/steering control on the ground which makes the plane nearly impossible to taxi or to turn in tight corners.

Thanks for any recommendations. Looking for a great panel too.

Have you tried the SGA MD-80 series? That is a good one. I also have a decent panel I downloaded off this site, but I cannot remember exactly what it was called at this time. Do a search, and something should pop up.

For a plane, you won't find a better plane for the money (free) than the SGA MD-83. There's quite a few repaints of American too, I have one downloaded and fly it from time to time.
The Finnish Designer group has a great MD-8x panel with quite a few features. There website is http://fidg.fsnordic.net
From Avsim.com - fidgmd83panelv1.zip and update: fidgmd83panelv2update.zip

Sorry 'bout the Avsim plug but I'm too lazy to search the library here (rather, too lazy to log in...)

Also, search for sound. I'm using a good soundset, but I don't remember who made it. It's also quite likely on Avsim.

Edit - The file is also on their website, on this page: http://www.matopurkki.com/fidg/downloads/md80panel.php
