Sorry lads, i tried putting the 777 panel into my current 777. Result? the sim would'nt load. I now need to locate the 777 on the FS9 original disk to reinstall it. Anybody tell me step by step where to look? I looked on all 4 disks via windows explorer but i'm still none the wiser. I assume they are in one of the cabinet files but if someone could kindly help me so i don't have to start all over again.
Cheers

Look for fs9cddir.zip in the Flightsim.com libraries. It has the complete listing you are looking for.

I did the same thing last winter....

Try renaming the FS9.cfg to something else. That'll take the default flight back to the original Cessna 172 at KSEA. Make sure the 172 is still in the aircraft folder.

The FS9.cfg file is in a different place in 98 and XP. Search the forum. There's been plenty of discussion on it.

Thanks, will do. Incidentally, i used the system restore on XP & the sim now loads okay. The only thing missing is just one version of the 777 (paint 1) which i think i removed using a gauge/aircraft uninstaller so i'll use the listing to locate it.
