FS9 Crashes constantly with a "ai_playr.dll error.

I have no idea why this started or what it means but it appears to have something to do with ai traffic???

Any help in solving this problem would be appriciated.

Thanks,

Walter

Open your drive:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\World\scenery folder and search for traffic030528.bgl or traffic030528.ORIGINAL. If you have any other traffic_xxx.bgl files, rename them with a different extension, i.e., ORIGINAL, TEST.

For this test, the only traffic file you want will be traffic030528.bgl. Therefore, if it is named traffic030528.ORIGINAL, rename it traffic030528.bgl.

Start FS2004, let it stabilize, select a flight, then FLY NOW. See if the problem is corrected. If the problem still exists, return all traffic_xxx. files to their original extensions. If the problem is corrected, you may have corrupted third party addon traffic_xxx.bgl file(s). Secondly, if you have more then one traffic_xxx.bgl file running at the same time, one traffic_xxx.bgl file may be causing problems with a second traffic_xxx.bgl.
