A/C texture folder problem

Hi
I have a slight problem with my A/C Texture folders , they are not displaying the full name just TEXTURE .

eg it should say
TEXTURE.AB
TEXTURE.CD
TEXTURE.EF etc

but its now saying
TEXTURE
TEXTURE
TEXTURE

some how some thing must have changed , any idea how to get it back to normal ..im using Win98se

Can you rename them ? Do the textures still work?

Hmmm, are other files showing extensions (.bmp , .cgf , .air ..etc). Maybe you somehow set windows not to show extensions on file names ?


In explorer .... "tolls" menu / folder options / view tab ... "hide extensions for known filetypes"

Is that checked ?

Are you viewing folders as thumbnails in windows explorer and the text is to large to display the whole thing? Maybe Texture is the cutoff size.

Thanks for the replies , the "Hide extensions for known file types" was some how checked . I unchecked it and its fine now thanks .
