I have a challenge with this following file that is crashing my FS9 program. I have downloaded and installed AIA DC9-50 TWA OC and when launching the program ,it loads up and I get Aircraft initialzational failure and shuts down the program. I have deleted the files from the Aircraft root folder and did a search of all files containing the file name. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 seperate times now to no avail. Please advise me if there is something I'm over looking

Some add-on aircraft do exhibit some troubles that can result in a crash of FS9.
Try loading up a default MS aircraft first and then change to your new add-on. Also some may crash unless they are opened up in specific views (Hawker and Premiere are examples and they are payware). So try loading in different views i.e. 2D cockpit, spot plane etc.
If after all that lot you still can't get going you may have to accept that the only place left for your add-on is the recycle bin.
One last tip when installing add-ons - NEVER overwrite gauges that you put in the main FS9/Gauges folder, some developers use older and sometimes incompatible gauges from previous FS SM default aircraft - you should always say "no" to the over-writing of gauges. If the add-on won't use an updated version of a gauge then it's not worth the risk of corrupting existing gauges that other aircraft can use.
You can get the MS default gauges from the CDROM#2 disk to restore if the need arises - unzip the MSGAME3.CAB file to find them.
