I have a Dell XPS pc and from all my friends and relatives I get the question, "Why is it so large"? My answer, "I don't know." Anyone know the answer, other than Dell? Ed W

I take it that's a full tower case? Tell em' it's big cause it needs the interior space to hold and properly cool all those extra powerful components their wimpy little machines don't have. Like top of the line video card, sound card, ethernet card, harddrives, etc. Kinda like a decked out SUV compared to an plain jane Escort.

I've got the Dell XPS and I love it. The case is indeed BIG---much bigger than the Dell P-III it replaced---but well-designed and roomy to work in, even for guys with big paws like mine. The larger size is no problem at all, unless you're cramped for space.
