I've been waiting to purchase FS2004. It seems as though the ATI driver problem may be ironed out. What kind of performance can I expect on my system?
This machine is set up for flight sims only. Operating system fine tuned for performance, ie. unecessary items shut off at start up; unecessary resource hogs turned off, etc.
System:
Dell 8250
Windows XP Home
Pt4 2.66 Processor
ATI 9800 128 mg Pro Graphics Card
Cat 3.10 drivers
Direct x 9.0a
512 mg PC 1066 Ram
Audigy 2 Sound Card
533 front side bus
19" Dell 992 Monitor
What I'm curious to know is if I can run all settings maxed, even over large cities. I've been told that even the 3 gig machines may slow down a bit over large areas.
I run FS2002 will all maxed out and set frames to 34. Also, how is the online (multiplayer) module, any bugs?
How will the 512 Ram be? I know more is always better, lol.
Thanks in Advance for your Help
