I've been waiting to purchase FS2004. It seems as though the ATI driver problem may be ironed out. What kind of performance can I expect on my system?

This machine is set up for flight sims only. Operating system fine tuned for performance, ie. unecessary items shut off at start up; unecessary resource hogs turned off, etc.

System:
Dell 8250
Windows XP Home
Pt4 2.66 Processor
ATI 9800 128 mg Pro Graphics Card
Cat 3.10 drivers
Direct x 9.0a
512 mg PC 1066 Ram
Audigy 2 Sound Card
533 front side bus
19" Dell 992 Monitor

What I'm curious to know is if I can run all settings maxed, even over large cities. I've been told that even the 3 gig machines may slow down a bit over large areas.

I run FS2002 will all maxed out and set frames to 34. Also, how is the online (multiplayer) module, any bugs?

How will the 512 Ram be? I know more is always better, lol.

Thanks in Advance for your Help

Sounds like a good system, I have a similar system, but I only have an old GeForce4 440 MX AGP card. I usually get around 40 fps unless there's a lot of scenery, which I'm fairly certain is beacuse of the video card with only 64MB VideoRAM. I'm not entierly maxed out, but it's almost the same fps there, maybe down to 35, but it gets really heavy on dense sceneries. I'm looking to bye a new card soon.
