Hi there, this my first post. Anyway, i'm hoping to get FS2004 son and i was wondering if i could take all my old flightplans from 2002 and put them into 2004? Also would Flight plan files for 2002 work in 2004?
I understand i would have to download new aircraft though.

Also does scenery from 2002 work in 2004? I have noticed that there is very little scenery available for 2004 on flightsim, such as airports.

Thanks for your help.

Some scenery from FS2K2 and FDS2K does work in FS2K4. I use Ron Ackerly's KMSP Airport in both. Also, it has been reported in a magazine that Ed Denney's meshes work as well. (If you use KMSP Airport, be sure to get the fix as well for reducing FPS load. These files are in the FS2K lib here.

I have moved my customized traffic.bgl file along with AI aircraft models contained in it to the appropriate folders in FS2K4, moving the original traficxxx.bgl file out of the way to avoid conflicts. I have not used the converted air files but have not noticed in preliminary testing any more airliner stalls then occurred in 2K2.
