Help!.... I have some sceneries with those lovely white buildings and am obviously missing some pretty essential additional textures for the main FS9 texture folder.

I have downloaded and installed the following ones:-

novatxt1.zip
novatxt2.zip
novatxt3.zip
novagt1.zip
asd21txt.zip
aip210tx.zip
vodtex30.xip
txtur202.zip

The add-on scenery I'm having particular bother with is Carib_Nd.zip (an excellent piece of work BTW) which does mention all the above nova textures to be required. Is there any obvious ones I am missing - if not then why do I get all those white buildings?, Beats me and I'm pulling out more hair :).

If anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate hearing from you here - thanks in advance.

Oh and so I can check my default textures does anyone know where to find them on the MS CDs?

I had the same problem. All the textures are installed/loaded, but I still get plain white buildings...

Thanks Simon, some consolation in your post mate - :) - saves me reaching for the heart tablets thinking something is really going wrong with my textures. I recently downloaded some texture updates but they hit my frame rates so uninstalled them manually and put back the originals from my default copy folder. I was convinced that during this process I had plucked something up.. thanks again.

I might be wrong here, but I think I read something about a specific order to install these texture because they overwrite a few files on top of each other. That could be the problem.

But again, I'm not sure 100% on that one, not even 50% ...:-hmmm

Better than 0% though Simon - thanks - I did not pay particular attention to the order in which I chucked em into the sim, will take a look and apply a little logical thinking starting with No.1 :)

If anyone else has any tips or experience with this scenery I'm all ears.
