Active Camera

With Active Camera 2004 is there a way so when you set the views you want in the Virtual Cockpit but then instead of always switching back to the Virtual Cockpit to see them you can just go to the Cockpit and press the right view or the left view or something like that like you could in FS2002? Thanks!

Hello,

Preset views are only allowed in virtual cockpit, not in 2D cockpit.
The same applies to the FS2002 version.
The left/right views you talk about can be called by the numpad in 2D cockpit. But you may have to re-assign these keys through the config utility (AC2004 version 1.1).

In AC2002 was able to move my viewpoint back to a wing view in 3D and then go 2D and with the number pad was still able to see those views. In AC2004 I can't. I now have to assign those views?

Hi Todd,

you made me discover a side effect of the program. We never experimented this during programming and testing AC2002.

Since I removed FS2002 from my HDD I cannot check.
Was this possible with default a/c too ?

Hi Serge,

I really can't say for sure since I don't use them that much. But I believe it was possible with just about every add-on plane I had.
