Hi
Does anyone know how to turn off the bleeping sound in the cockpits when the Nav1 has captured the glide slope ? The sound gets in the way of concentrating landing the aircraft.
Thanks

You should be able to control from the radio stack in most aircraft what you hear and what you don't. By default in FS9 the markers are OFF and you need to "turn" these on from the radio stack, same as identificating morse signals from beacons. So if you deactivate the NAV1 audio the sounds should go away.

Hi:
I believe the beeping you hear is actually the "middle marker", a radio beacon that identifies aprox. 1/2 mile before the runway threshold. Further out (aprox 5 miles) you ahould hear a different pattern of beeps that represents the "outer marker".
This does not indicate glideslope capture.
As in real life, you can turn this off by selecting the "off" position for the "marker" switch on the audio panel of the aircraft.
