What can I expect in improvment in changing from ATI 7500 to FX 5600 Ultra? System is P3 1.0 ghz 512 Ram

to be honest, i think you'll see about no difference at all.

1)the graphics card is too fast for your processor. that's for all games.
2)a graphic card doesn't change your fps. maybe 1 or 2 fps more. upgrading your processor from 1 to 2.8Ghz will make the huge difference!

FS9 is heavily dependent on the CPU, unlike quake. FAR,FAR,FAR better investment. You have a 1 gighz processor? With what, AGP 1X? That card would be a waste on your system.
