Hi again,
now i want to use taxispeed but if it`s unzipped and i want to start it, i get a message that say: runtime error, path not found.
I use the unzipper that was integrated with win xp.
And in the download file i can read, that it doesn`t matter where to extract this file.

I`ve installed my fs2k4 not to the normal directory c:\programs\microsoft games......
but i`ve installed it to d:\fs2k4

thanks again
Gerd

Hmmmm, put in in your root 2004 directory anyway.

I thought it didn't work for fs9? It says it does, but it looks for FS2002. It did for me anyway.

It works fine for me (both FS2002 and FS9). I have it installed in its own folder and created a shortcut on my desktop. You may need to get FSUIPC (version 3.0 or higher)and install it in your FS9 MODULE folder since this is a third party software interfacing with FS9 - I am not sure , just a thought, since I already had FSUIPC installed.

It can't hurt for to at least try. Thanks!

Oh yes it can hurt. I tried this in 2004 and got the runtime error mentioned, alone with the inability to start FS2004 afterwards. Even a reset of the cfg file didn't work, I ended up having to use the System Restore to a point before using the Taxispd file.

Ouch! :-eek That blows. I guess I'll hold off then until there's a definite solution then.
