I have read the posts on adding textures to aircraft and am having a problem. I down loaded a c-130 from Mike Stone and got RICHMOND Airline texture down loaded. I did all the changes to the aircraft .config file and still have a blank plane (no tectures) when it loads. Please help with this as I am stumped. Thanks in advance.
I HAVE INCLUDED THE CONFIG FILE

Jamlazer, I use FS2004 and installed the USAF version from Mike Stones's site with no problems. Did you get the Richmond version from Gerry Smith's site (http://www.gjsmith.net)?. I downloaded the Richmond version (Richmond-C130.zip) and it contained only .jpgs. Does your file contain the same thing? These are screenshots of the plane and not texture files, so they don't work. Assuming you also got only .jpg's obviously the file is not complete.

If you do have texture files, then I did notice one possible reason for the textures not showing up. Prior to installing the Richmond version did the USAF version appear OK? What I noticed about the config file as shown in your message is no square brackets around the fltsim.x identifiers. You probably tried to type them in your message but they won't appear. Does your aircraft.cfg file contain them? No brackets will keep the textures from appearing properly. Also, I assume you do have a texture file named "texture.1" associated with the Richmond version and that you didn't change the name of the .air file (should be c-130.air).

Based on just the .cfg file, not much more I can offer. I have a feeling that the Richmond download file may be the culprit.

Hope this helps.
