I feel that the reason FS9 beta testors are still under the NDA for some things is because they know MS wn't fix all the problems that need to be fixed. MS is only hiding from the public because they try to get by just to put something on the market before it is ready to be released. Except for FS2002, all sim releases so far seem like experiments and not the final product. I will not spend any more money on another microsoft game, unless it can do the dishes and water my lawn. I will upgrade to new operating systems, because there isn't much to pick from out there for the home user in that regard, Microsoft has got me there :-lol. They treat FS like any ohter game and show little or no support after it is released. They got out of the joystick biz, and should hand over the sim biz to somebody else. It's unfortunate that FLYII didnt' go much further, because of things out of their control, but they would have passed up Microsoft if they had a chance. I"m sure somebody else will come along that cares.

Hope you're feeling better now that you're getting your venting out of the way. I expect this post will disappear like your other one.

PS; Perhaps a beer would help to relax you.

hey how are things at United? What are you planning to do if you get furloughed? Keeping fingers crossed that that doesn't happen....

I have a couple ideas, primarily in the real-estate/mortgage area.
Based on the total furlough numbers United's throwing out, I could likely be out sometime between Feb - Apr next year. Based on those same figures, I would be in the last 100-200 to go. With anticipated retirements, I'd be gone for maybe 1-2 years. Who really knows though as things are changing all the time.
